We exist to cultivate a culture of collectivity and develop rhythms of mutual aid within anti-racist and queer affirming frameworks.
things we do

Education & Empowerment
By learning our histories, sharing our stories, and engaging in current events, we empower the leaders of today with skills and knowledge to live compassionately. Chroma hosts weekly in-person lectures and discussions, book clubs, and field trips to local museums and historical sites. Our social media presence acts as a site of education and empowerment for the broader community.

Community Building
Social gatherings and community events allow us to know and love one another better. Programming includes movie nights, open mic events, and unofficial social gatherings. Community is also built in online spaces through community-made playlists, member-only messaging and communications platforms, social media, and the forthcoming production of our very first digital zine!

Mutual Aid
Chroma supports its diverse community through intersectional coalition building and the free sharing of resources. Mutual aid is provided through internal support systems to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of the community. We hope to expand this department through the generosity of community partners. If you want more information, check out our Get Involved page, or fill out our interest form.
